Move Toward Hope

Christian Hope Explained

The Easter Season begins on Easter Sunday and continues for 7 weeks. We know as Christians that the Resurrection is our sure sign of hope. For the remaining 6 weeks of Easter, our message will be an encouragement for you to "Move Toward Hope."

For the Second Sunday of Easter (Divine Mercy Sunday), to Move Toward Hope is only possible for those who accept God's Divine Mercy. It is the forgiveness of sins that opens us to Eternal Life.

For the Third Sunday of Easter, the disciples encounter Jesus on the Road to Emaus. The journey of Christians can be one of despair when we do not recognize Jesus walking with us.

For the Fourth Sunday of Easter (Good Shepherd Sunday), we are reminded to listen for the Voice of the Shepherd Who is our Hope. On this weekend we will be reminded to remove the clutter from our lives so as to be able to Move Toward Hope.

For the Fifth Sunday of Easter, we hear that we are a Chosen Race/Royal Priesthood. To Move Toward Hope is the movement from darkness into His marvelous Light.

For the Sixth Sunday of Easter, as part of our Movement Toward Hope we must always be ready to give a reason for our Hope. Christians are always looking forward and are able to witness to the Hope that guides them through Life.

For the Seventh Sunday of Easter (the Sunday following the Ascension), Jesus goes before us to prepare for us a Kingdom. HE is our Hope and we must always Move Toward HIM.
